Easter Sunday Online
Let’s face it, this is going to be a very different kind of Easter Sunday. It’s Good Friday today and most churches are gathering together to remember the day that Christ was crucified. Churches are gathering all of their members and getting the building ready to welcome extra guests that will be coming Easter morning. Parents are getting their kids and their Sunday best outfits ready. Families are planning their Easter egg hunts and traditional Easter ham dinner menu. Easter Sunday is traditionally a time to gather together with friends and family to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It’s a time to be with loved ones and go to church to worship the King of Kings in your Sunday’s best.
With the Contra Costa County Shelter In Place order, this is not going to be your usual Easter Sunday. With social distancing practices in place, we will be staying home and watching an Easter message on your electronic devices. Since there are no physical gatherings at the churches, we have gathered a map of all the churches in the Brentwood area that are offering online services and videos for you to be able to watch or listen to online. Sometimes it can be challenging to find where to find these portals so we hope that you can use this resource to find an Easter sermon that you can gather with your family to watch/listen at home.
We know that God can still deliver his message to all of the people that are willing to listen through an online message. Don’t let this shelter in place take you away from the opportunity to hear the message that still to this day saves lives, gives hope, and offers a chance to meet with Jesus.
